Police Arrest Maoist in Jamui

Jamui/Dantewada: Acting on a tip off police in Jamaui district of Bihar have arrested a Maoist, Naresh Yadav who is said to be an expert in ambushing and laying traps for police forces. Talking to reporters, Additional Superintendent of Police (ASP), Jamui Upender Sharma, called Yadav’s arrest a great achievement, as he was involved in 22 violent criminal cases. Meanwhile in Dantewada district of Chhattisgarh, a police officer, who was allegedly kidnapped by Maoists, was found dead. The 27-year old sub-inspector Nilesh Pandey was supposedly shot dead by Maoists on November 6 near Raipur district, while he was on his way home.
