KATHMANDU: Vice-Chairman of the CPN-Maoist CP Gajurel has said political and economic crises were deepening in the country.
Addressing the 2nd national gathering of Nepal National University Teachers’ Association here on Sunday, Vice-Chairman Gajurel warned that economic condition of the country would dwindle more because development expenditure is nil in the current fiscal year.
“Complete budget was impossible unless the next government was formed on political consensus,” he said, adding, “For this, present government must step down.”
Moreover, he said even the University teachers should be aware to prevent this government from draining the exchequer in the coming election.
Association Chairperson Takma KC, Maoist leader Alemagar and others stressed that University teachers need to make aware the people on the issues of nationality.
