Landmine blast triggered by maoists kill BSF jawan

Koraput, Sept 2 (ANI): A landmine blast triggered by the Maoists, in the Koraput district of Odisha has killed one paramilitary Border Security Force (BSF) man and injured another. Inspector Incharge of Laxmipur Police Station, Suryamani Pradhan Pradhan said BSF constable J Kundu died on the spot, while his colleague Dhiren Sahu sustained injuries in the explosion. The latest series of attacks by ultras, including repeated strikes and ambushes targeting security personnel deployed in the insurgency-affected areas, has led to fears that security forces are ill prepared to deal with the threat.
