KATHMANDU: CPN-Maoist on Monday came down heavily on the government over today’s price hike of petroleum products.
Issuing a press statement here today, the CPN-M accused the incumbent government of troubling Nepali people by increasing the price of petroleum products with the festive season just around the corner.
The statement further reads that the intention of the ruling government is not good as they have hiked the prices of daily essentials and petroleum products time and again.
CPN-M condemned the move and demanded roll back of the latest price hike of petroleum products as soon as possible.
The statement further stated that CPN-M would take to the streets if this coalition government did not revoke the price hike.
