Senior Maoist leader killed in gun battle in J’khand

Chatra, July 21 (ANI): Acting on a tip off, sleuths of security forces have killed a senior Maoist leader during a gun-battle in Lakadmanda village of Kundathana of Jharkhand. The deceased Maoist has been identified as Ajay Gunju alias Paras, who was the regional commander of Communist Party of India-Maoist. The incident took place when the sleuths of local police and 203 Commando of Battalion for Resolute Action (CoBRA) received secret information of Ganjhu’s whereabouts and raided the place. Calling it a big achievement for the police, Superintendent of Police, Anoop Birthare said that the firing went up to about 2 hours and Ganjhu was finally killed.
