Scuffle over party office ownership hurts 3 Maoists

BHARATPUR: Three persons have sustained injuries in a scuffle between the miscreant cadres aligned to the Unified CPN-Maoist and the newly formed CPN-Maoist on Saturday.

One among the injured, as reported, has sustained gunshot injuries on his right leg.

According to District Member of the Young Communist League Ramhari Sedai, Uttam Gurung, Suresh Thapa and Narayan Acharya were injured in the clash followed by the gunfire.

Uttam Gurung, who has received the bullet, has been rushed to Bharatpur Hospital for treatment.

The party office, which is situated at Krishapur of Bharatpur-6, is under the police control while the cadres of both the parties are standby 500 km away from the party office in Dharmachowk, said police.
