Odisha:Cops nab two Maoist cadres

Report by Deba Prasad Dash; Malkangiri: While intensifying the operation against the cadres of outlawed CPI (Maoist), the cops have nabbed two Maoist guerrillas from Chhatisgarh-Odisha bordering Mahupadar village under Maithili police limits in the wee hours today.

The duos were caught by the District Voluntary Forces during a routine combing operation. They have been identified as Mangaraj Durua and Anda Madhi of Guruguda village, said R.K.Pati to this correspondent. They have been produced in the court today.

Both the cadres were active members of Darva division of CPI (Maoist) operating in Odisha-Chhatisgarh Border, Pati added.

The Mahupadar village under Maithili police limits in the district shares its border with Puspali, Chitalnad,Tanpal and Kakwad villages of neighbouring Chhattisgarh state.
