SRINAGAR (IHK): In occupied Kashmir, people held protest demonstrations in Nowhatta Chowk and Gojwara areas of Srinagar against the harassment and arrest of youth, reports KMS.
The youth assembled and tried to take out a peaceful protest march. However, Indian police personnel subjected them to brute force. “The police used baton charge and fired tear gas shells to disperse the protesting youth,” eyewitnesses told media persons.
As per reports, people took to the streets in Nowhatta Chowk and Gojwara areas of Srinagar to protest against the harassment and arrest of youth. Indian police resorted to baton charge and teargas shelling to disperse the protestors.
