Luxury cars targeted by vandals

Ten luxury cars have been targeted by vandals in Edinburgh.

The vehicles include BMW, Lexus, Jaguar and Mercedes that were parked in the Comely Bank area of the city.

They were scratched some time between 11pm on Saturday and 6.30am on Sunday.

The value of the damage is not yet known and police are linking the incidents.

Anyone who saw anything suspicious in Learmouth Crescent, Comely Bank Terrace or Comley Bank Grove over night on Saturday is asked to contact Lothian and Borders Police.

A police spokesman said: “These mindless acts of vandalism have resulted in significant damage to at least ten cars and will undoubtedly have a financial impact on the owners.
