Bedouins block Egyptian motorway

Bedouins have blocked an international motorway in Sinai near the city of Abu-Rudeis after a police patrol shot two locals.

The Egyptian media report that the two young men of 18 and 22 refused to stop their car for inspection of documents, after which the police officers opened fire.

The dead men’s families believe that they probably did not hear the police officers’ demand. The action of protest began straight after the incident.
