Protest against power shortage

People burn tyres during a protest against power shortage in Dera Ismail Khan, Pakistan, yesterday. Protesters gathered in Peshawar to protest against load shedding, as the country faces a prolonged power outages. Pakistan is currently facing a power shortage of almost 6,000 megawatts because it reportedly failed to build new power plants to keep up with the demand for electricity, resulting in prolonged outage every day.
