Arsonists set fire to six vehicles on Tuesday night in Berlin-Charlottenburg. It remained to be seen, whether they are politically motivated acts, said a police spokeswoman.
The succession of fires began, according to the police in the Westendallee. On Meerscheidstraße it
two cars were burnt, one of which burned down completely. Arsons also occured in Taorte Fritschestraße, Marie-Elisabeth-Lueders-street and the Ernst-Reuter-Platz. No one was injured.
In the first half of 2011, there have been 77 politically motivated arson attacks on cars. A total of 164 vehicles have been damaged.
