A 13-Year-Old Shot Dead By Jawan In Chennai, Tension Grips The City

In an instance of conflict between duty and commonsense, it is duty which often wins in army. In a tragic incident,  a 13-year-old boy was shot in the head while trying to trespass into an Army compound in Chennai.

Dilshan succumbed to his injuries after being rushed to a government hospital in a very critical condition.
A case has been registered and investigations are on into the incident.

There are conflicting versions about who killed the boy. One report says the boy was shot at by a police man whereas another version has it that the boy was actually shot at by an Army jawan.

Meanwhile police have cordoned off the entire area.

The news spread like a wild fire and soon a huge protest broke down in Chennai. The protesters are pelting stones at the Army compound. They are demanding a detailed inquiry into the issue. They are also demanding to sack the Army official or the policeman responsible for the heinous crime.
