Eight windows shattered at Chase bank branch on Seattle’s Capitol Hill

Seattle police are looking for a group of vandals who broke eight windows at a Chase bank branch on Capitol Hill Thursday evening.

Several witnesses called police around 8:40 p.m., saying there were four to six people, all dressed in black clothing with face coverings — either masks or bandannas — doing damage to the bank, said Seattle Police Det. Mark Jamieson.

By the time officers got there, the suspects were gone but they had left behind some fliers as well as a sledgehammer.

Jamieson has not seen the fliers, but said witnesses described the suspects as “anarchist style” because of their clothing and the fliers they left.
