Relatives of inmates embarked on hunger strike rally in the capital of Kyrgyzstan

Relatives of inmates embarked on hunger strike are congregating near ‘White House’ in the capital of Kyrgyzstan.

Around 20 people are staying near central entrance to show protest against prison conditions in penal colonies and pre-trial detention center.

Let’s note they make number of demands among them are improvement of prison conditions, announcement of amnesty by April 7, stop of police outrage and etc. They said they will rally until all their demands will be satisfied.

Inmates embarked on hunger strike in all penal colonies of Kyrgyzstan on Friday, March 25. According to authorities this is a reaction on the declared fight against criminals. But inmates and their relatives have another version: they have to go to extremities due to severe prison conditions.
