There were mass arrests of young people on March 15 who are believed by police to be involved in the anarchist movement.
Most of the detained had been questioned in the case of anarchists last year.
The law-enforcement agencies tried to prevent their participation in street actions timed to the Day of Joint Actions against Police Outrage, Viasna Human Rights Center reports.
About 15 people were detained in different districts of Minsk in the morning.
As the website belarus.indymedia.org informs, no police reports were drawn up and no other actions were taken in relation to the detained. All of them were released after illegal 10-hour detention. Many of the detained are reported to have been called in to local police departments for conversations.
