Tagger strikes downtown parking garage, police say

A man apparently upset by events at the state Capitol let his feelings be known late Friday night using spray paint on a downtown parking garage, Madison police reported.

The tagger wrote “Strike Now!” in black spray paint on a wall of the parking garage at Manchester Place in the 100 block of Wisconsin Avenue shortly before midnight on Friday, police said.

According to a police news release, a security guard at the garage saw the suspect spray paint the words on a wall, with the suspect running off when he spotted the security guard.

The suspect was only described as being all dressed in black.
