Mob of young people strike Minn. gas station

ST. PAUL, Minn. (AP) – St. Paul has seen its second “mob theft” at a convenience store since last fall.

Police say about 30 to 40 young people ran into a Holiday gas station on St. Paul’s west side Saturday night. The throng snatched juice bottles, candy and chips, and then took off without paying.

A clerk was assaulted in a “mob theft” in St. Paul last fall. No one was hurt in the latest case.
