Porus residents protest after police kill man

There is a massive protest in Porus, Manchester, at this hour as residents condemn the Police killing of a 26-year-old construction worker in what they say is a case of mistaken identity.

The residents say the police mistook Gregory Pummells for a man who had robbed a woman in Toll Gate, Clarendon, earlier.

The Gleaner/Power 106 news centre was not able to get a comment from the police locked themselves inside the Porus Police station, away from the angry crowd.

Reports are that that traffic has also backed up on the Porus main road as curious motorists stop to watch the protest.
