Dozens of families settled in a place near the railways in Retiro. For that reason, the railway union workers of San Martín train, suspended the service for the whole day saying they have “no guarantees” for their job.
The strike began at 1pm, where homeless families settled in the railroad that travels to Pilar.
The company that grants the San Martin line service, informed the decision of the workers.
At the same time, some residents of Villa 31 in Retiro said that while many of the occupants are of the settlement, others are “people who came from other side in different buses.”
The delegate of the Villa 31 Retiro, Carlos Adrian, expressed this concern, which is detrimental to other members of the shantytown.
