Imphal, November 28 2010: Manipur based Kangleipak Communist Party (KCP) and Bangladesh based Proletarian Party of East Bengal (Maoist Unity Group) have agreed to initiate a process towards formation of a new coordinating committee of the Maoist Party and Organisation of the South Asia.

A preparatory committee has been already constituted to realise the proposed coordinating with comrade Polash of Bangladesh and comrade Yaibi-Len of Manipur as convenor and co-convenor respectively, said a joint press statement signed by KCP publicity and propaganda secretary W Malemnganba Meitei and Proletarian Party of East Bengal (Maoist Unity Group) spokesperson Abdul Khan.

The ruling colonial bourgeoise will never give up its power without a fight.

Putting an end to the colonial rule is only possible by building public opinion to seize power through armed struggle.

However any armed insurrection on the territory of Manipur will be inevitably crushed until and unless objective conditions for its mass support of the potentially revolutionary strata of the population is present, added the joint statement.
