Finnish Troops Participate in Crisis Management Exercises

Finnish soldiers are to participate in EU crisis management exercises in Sweden on Tuesday. Troops from Norway, Estonia and Ireland will also take part in the training.

The troops will be faced with mock crisis situations in southern Sweden. The purpose of their mission will be to guard aid transports and to prevent armed unrest.

Around 200 soldiers from Finland will take part in the training.
