German university bans ‘Neo-Nazi’ clothes

A university in north-eastern Germany announced Friday that it would prohibit its students and teachers to wear clothing associated with neo-Nazis.
The announcement was made by the University of Greifswald following an incident which took place last semester, in which a professor of law had worn a garment with the Thor Steinar brand, which is particularly appreciated by far-right extremists. (AFP)
