GREENSBOROUGH police arrested four teenagers overnight after more than 40 bus shelters were damaged with slingshots and marbles.
Houses and cars were also damaged in the spree, which covered Mill Park, Greensborough and Watsonia.
Police alleged the damage bill topped $100,000.
Four youths, including a 17-year-old girl from Mill Park, a 16-year-old boy from South Morang, an 18-year-old man from Epping and a 19-year-old West Meadows man, were picked up and questioned by police in Elder St, Watsonia, about 11.50pm.
The four will be charged on summons and will face Heidelberg Magistrates’ Court at a later date.
